Kent’s Favourite Trees Project
Kent’s Favourite Trees Project is a web-based initiative being developed in partnership with BTCV and the various Countryside Partnerships throughout the county.
The aim of the project is to provide the people of with the opportunity to celebrate and record for future generations the trees that are special to them, their friends, family and community.
To make this exciting new project a reality a funding bid is currently in the process of being submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Kent’s Favourite Trees Project will encompass a whole range of events and activities associated with ancient trees, hedgerows and woodlands.

Activities will include:
Participants will also be able to take part in practical conservation tasks such as tree planting, seed gathering and wreath-making.
The project will enable people to get involved and participate in traditional woodland crafts such as green wood working and coppicing. If you get involved in this new project you can record and share with others your own very favourite tree on our website.
