About Us

The North West Kent Countryside Partnership was established in 1984 using funds from the then Countryside Commission (now Natural England), the Environment Agency, the County Council, and local authorities. The partnership operates in the boroughs of Bexley, Dartford , Gravesham and Sevenoaks working with local communities, landowners, statutory bodies and community organisations to conserve the area's countryside and green spaces.

We are part of a network of Countryside Partnerships that cover the county of Kent, delivering a wide range of conservation and environmental projects.

The partnership is proud of its reputation for successfully delivering a wide diversity of projects in partnership with its core and project funders. Here are just a few of the comments we have received from people we have worked with:

"Just wanted to drop a line to say thank you so much for the bird box building workshop. my two kids enjoyed themselves so much they have asked me to thank you form them and also enquire about "Bat Night".
Thanks again, Ruth, Bexley.

"I just wanted to thank you for a fantastic morning of fun at Joyden's Wood today. Me and my two daughters absolutely loved making the bird box and they were so excited when their Dad got home, to show him their handy work.

Pat and Sarah, Dartford"

"I would just like to take this occasion to thank yourself and the North West kent Countryside Partnership for a joyous and wonderful bat hunting and treasure hunting experience. We had a brilliant time.
Diane, Crayford"

"Louise, I would like to thank you on behalf of Sevenoaks Friendship Centre for your very entertaining talk. I think it was obvious how much your presentation was enjoyed by the members. It was encouraging to learn about the work you are doing, especially with regard to helping children to be active in the countryside.
Anita, Horton Kirby"
